What happened?
I loved the first book, but this one was a slog. The characters barely felt like the people I fell in love with before, and somehow hundreds of pages went by with… nothing happening.
I kept waiting for the plot to start and for me to care again. Neither happened.
Bored, disconnected, and honestly just relieved to be finished.
