Gratia Beo
Gratia Beo is finished
I felt heartbroken seeing Gregor’s situation. What’s more, his younger sister was beginning to feel burdened by Gregor’s current transformation and openly wanted to get rid of him. What broke my heart was that they didn’t feel sad when Gregor died; there were no tears. In fact, they went on with their lives by erasing their memories of Gregor.

Those are truly profound words. I can feel how frustrated Gregor is that he can’t help his parents calm down. He also feels that, ever since his transformation, his humanity has gradually begun to fade away. Gregor’s younger sister often brings him food but keeps the door locked. He feels like a burden to his sister, who is only 17 years old.

This is a classic novel; it made me imagine what it would be like to be an insect. In fact, while reading this book, I pictured a cockroach. Gregor Samsa was a man who worked tirelessly, without rest or days off. He did all of this for his family. Even in the midst of such hardship, he continued to think of his family.
