leto's audience w the reverend mothers. old anteac, young luyseyal. them offering leto "community." interesting, bc the foundation for what leto is, what paul became, is the ultimate manifestation of BG planning. what they envisioned as the kwisatz haderach, formed premature then reincarnated as abomination... and leto can see the temptation of seeking community! he misses his humanity, and not knowing the future!

not leto smitten for hwi! age gap crazy. and the super ancestral phantom limb sensation!! i think this chapter is leading to interesting places. namely, that whatever Ix is building to fit space travel, it uses some technology that messes with space-time, because leto can't see Hwi's origin. or maybe he wasnt using his full-prescience?? so he can be surprised?

so this city of Onn is built pretty much built just to dickride Leto... i fw it. duncan on edge. feels like moneo is getting scared of his God Emperor, and starting to question him... just like A LITTLE tho, lets not get crazy. p much its gets touchy concerning siona... "Siaynoq"

so leto and the troupe are on the path to the festival cityy, leto pauses to reminisce over the old desert w duncan. how it's highlighted that he keeps going back to these memories and thinking/daydreaming longer... hmmm... sonia sees him as prey... this duncan being a little different... im LIKING IT

i give up bro this duncan is fucked. like every chapter its: "exactly what a duncan would do" LIKE WTF. damn man! BUT there should be some interesting revelations about this duncan eventually, or atleast we indulge in their routine conversations. like last chapter we learned more abt the fish speakers: all women army inspired by ancient communal dreams. moneo is a distant descendants of duncan. all men army theory...

a week break cuz alot of stuff happened. back to it, leto is really hammering home that boredom and emotions are dangerous for him. this latest duncan seemed to throw him for ONE loop, i think... something about ppl believing leto a god. did leto mess up at end, by telling a paul story using his voice? or was it just a setup to shock duncan with the correct voice right after? details within details...
