Victoria is revealed to be an exceptional and celebrated painter of the Royal Academy. Work is in depicting time, a painting of ideas. James, in my opinion, did not succeed in allowing the reader to see her expertise. Perhaps it is just me

The tutor jealousy was just a bump on the street. The main issue was Dominique calling her a fool. His remorse is great and he begins to uncover her true genius

Deuce X Machina. The Duchess of Huntington appears. There’s much confusion over Tori‘s paintings, and it is not clear whether she is a virtuoso at flowers and rabbits. That she can draw a perfect circle is the most telling appraisal.

Setting up the jealousy trope with the painting tutor is a cop out and unworthy of the author. At 81% of the book finished, it just seems that she threw it against the wall. And we’re still dealing with the Duke of Queensberry…

The twins continue to be a delight to offset all the bed sport, which is also done with a light touch. But Dominique and Victoria are humping like rabbits, morning, noon, night. Wake up, repeat.
We get the picture. It would’ve been far more pleasing for more details of the twins. They are magnificent
