I am struggling to stay engaged, Ingri hasn't arrived at the park and now Jewels is looking for her. I'm bored. Dnf and let the next person read this, I had high hopes but I find Riley's writing and characterization bland.

I'm bored despite everything I'm reading. Something clearly happened at the Bartholomew I get that, and working up to that while flashing to the future hospital stay is interesting I'm still bored. I've only hit 1 star reads so far this month, should I dnf and try something else or keep going? Will this get better? Is it something worth chugging along for?
