Visceral, dark, atmospheric, intense and a slow burn! Lots of thriller and cosmic supernatural elements, there was a lot going on but nonetheless this is one of my favorite authors and I enjoyed her writing and storytelling here. This story is haunting emotionally.

If you enjoyed the films/novels “The Shinning” and “Silence of the Lambs” I recommend this for you.
