Crazy I almost DNF'd this book. A24 would eat the script for this UP, but it has to be returned to its original form. Put Nick's entire manuscript back together.

Sam joking about his trauma in this moment is crazy work, but I feel ya buddy. It's funny.

I 100% think this editor made a mistake breaking up Nick's manuscript. Reading it all together is so important to the experience this author was trying to achieve--making you sit with this heavy truth as you experience Sam living through the different phases of his boyfriend's undoing.
