Well fucking OF COURSE the 2nd LI is a demon prince!! Bc why wouldn’t he be??!! 🙄 Why do yall love this “trope” (if that’s what you want to call it) of love triangle bw bland annoying FMC and “good boy” vs “bad boy”?? I’m getting so sick of it fr!! (Eg. TVD, ACOTAR, Flop Wing) And the thing is, I can’t even tell these dudes apart bc there’s nothing interesting about either of them lmaoooo

Had to switch to the audiobook to help me read this bc I’m getting dangerously close to DNFing. I’m just bored and uninterested by this world building and these characters, I’m sorry.
My biggest issue is that it’s just so much telling and not showing. Plus, there’s SO MUCH inner monologue I’m like omg, but still I get very little sense of who the FMC is. She’s just not very interesting.
