today i learned that ancient greeks did not use soap and instead rubbed themselves with olive oil and then scraped it off as their form of bathing 🤢 then they would put more olive oil on after to act as a protective barrier for their “clean” skin 😭😭 just filthy and funky as hell

zeus was just talking to hera and said “you may betake yourself to lie submerged in tartarus…you bitch unparalleled, i’ll be indifferent still to your bad temper”

oh if i was there someone would be ending up in tartarus after this conversation but it would not be hera
