I know every romance book has to have that scene where the record scratches and everything comes crashing down— but good lord this FMC is irredeemable after what she did. Hate having a book I was enjoying so much come crashing down like this 😞

teaaaaaaaa! this reminds me of a book that liz read where the FMC falls in love with her dead best friends husband- EEK! irredeemable imo

Her dead best friend’s… 😮😮😮 So the MMC’s brother died and that’s why he’s back running the ranch. She got mad that her new boss (this guy fired her because she spent recklessly in her budget) wanted to participate in the big bad unethical new rodeo and, of course because her mother’s sperm donor never noticed her, she’s afraid of love. So she flew off the handle on MMC, screaming awful things about how he wasn’t there for his brother and new knew his brother at all, about how terrible of a human he is and why nobody likes him. He then proceeded to blame HIMSELF in the next chapter for how the argument went. My gobs were smacked!
