This is a the sequel to the hidden gem called Unlucky Money. Lockhart is the best writer you never heard of. Wendy Lu is a great character (former naval sailor and cop and now a PI). Wendy is a petite and pretty intelligent woman who knows how to fight. The sequel has an odd cover for a crime novel. It is about finding a missing Chinese immigrant who has been apparently been kidnapped and forced into prostitution.
