So much happened in 3 chapters between an unknown tale and incarnate dying at the hands to that man to the queens' guards killing the freed wyvern simply because it was happy to feel freedom.

Simran and Vina are so enamoured with each other and the fact that they had a WINE PARTY in the woods together and further showed their sexual attraction for each other...OUGH. Vina feels such remorse for it though my baby :(

Chapter 9 really embellished the fact that the Queen sees nothing but control for maintaining her power. Meera wanting to help mold Simran into basically the kingdoms token brown incarnate girl so she'd be seen less as a monster and villain even though she already is.

ALSO THE GARDEN SCENE? Vina is such an asshole I love that butch dearly. She clearly feels so much despite her jokes and I want her to have the world
