I don’t quite know why it would be Mary, but I feel as if we’ve spoken too much about the probability of it being one of the men for it to be a satisfactory plot twist for Agatha Kristi. With her reputation, I’m inclined to believe that the shock of who the murderer is will be greater than it would be by revealing it was the brothers, so I believe despite my earlier suspicions that it must be one of the women.

Hastings is such an idiot I love him. He seems to miss even the most objectively obvious clues. This makes him a curios pair with The Hercule Poirot. I don’t think the murder was committed by any of the women though I could be wrong.

I still think it’s Lawrence and I absolutely love the detail about Hercules green eyes.

I have no idea how, or why for that matter, but I believe it’s Lawrence. I think he entered through the chimney and left without unbolting any of the doors. He saw some evidence he’d left the previous night and that’s why he looked like he’d seen a ghost in the room.

I think that the murderer could be John but he is definitely cheating and I think the begonias are a symbol of cation and gratitude

Interesting characters so far. My geuss is Mrs. and Mr. Cavendish are in some disloyal relationship with one another. We have met our famous detective! He’s 5ft 4!
