Some of the poetry and moments of this book were so beautiful and special and made me really appreciate the specific relationship one can have with their pet. However, the other bits were so gut wrenchingly selfish and resulted in this cat being put in terrible situations that I just could not stand it. Poor little Mii deserved better.
