The 1 issue with having goodreads linked with my Kindle is that every time I open new books to check the trigger warnings/author notes, it adds it them straight to my current reads. Don't worry, I'm not reading like 14 books at the same time.

if you unmark the "currently reading" that's on there, it removes it from your currently reading on here with no effect to the book.
for me, it usually turns that off for future books too, until i turn it on.
i don't read on an actual kindle, i use the app on my phone and computer, so hopefully if you do, it works there too.
