Finished the first 15 chapters and quite frankly I have to say I am bored. Being a literary scholar (a.o.) myself I can't say the protagonist presents anything interesting (yet). Even his style does not entice me. What to do?
I will read on in the hope the trip to the northern part of the UK archipel will bring something interesting. McEwan will have some trick up his sleeve, won't he?
