I should have savored this book more slowly. The way you're supposed to savor a drink of whiskey. Slow and a couple sips at a time. Let it linger on your taste buds and sit in the heat for a while.

But it is intoxicating. The way it burns and fades so quickly that you immediately want more. So, I kept flipping the pages and reading on for more of the intensity of the love between these two characters.

Everyone warned me against reading this book. Said it was too close to home, that it would break my heart all over again.

But it didn't. It healed something in me I didn't know needed to be healed. I loved every moment of this book. Yes, I flew through it like I was starving for a meal I'd been denied for a very, very long time.

It was good. Exactly what I needed, but no more than what I could take.

Right Person, Wrong Time

This trope has always infuriated me and for good reason. Just effing be together, UGH! Then there is assumptions and accusations and miscommunication and it all so frustrating. You get your hopes up for the next time they are able to talk or be in the same place again just for one of them to say no over and over again. AHHHHH!!! I'm ripping my hair out trying to get through this book!
