I'm kinda disappointed so far. It's such a fun concept but there's so much telling not showing. I have to get a full back story from Maggie every time she sees a character. It's understandable but it feels like I'm always playing catch up and doesn't allow me to feel any anticipation or excitement. I'm almost more excited when I hear about her boring normal life from before she went in the book. Is that the point??
