I understand the mixed reviews. It took me a bit to eggshell with this epistolary historical novel but now I’m caught up in the stories. It’s a clever way of teaching the history of the German occupation which, if I ever knew if it, I can’t recall. This would be a good read for high schoolers studying the era.
