Anne (? can’t 100% remember her name rn) + Flora have some chaotic sapphic energy about them! Hopefully they can get on the same page. It would make sense that Anne’s son wanted to look out for her… but she’s also an autonomous adult & he kept a huge secret from her, a secret about her own best friend/roommate/crush! I like the bits of lore/character flavor related to our protagonist, Dorothy, as well

How will people react to a baby being born on the ship? Violet seems to think many people will be excited bc they want babies of their own. Who is trying to abduct Peregrine? Why is Flora losing her memories after giving birth; is it related to her stroke? (Possibly, I believe that’s often a preliminary symptom in stroke patients). Ruthie & John named the baby & hope to adopt him fully later.

Miss Tillburn had a baby & doesn’t remember bc she was rebooted into another body. Surely they’ll find the father soon. I wonder if Ruthie & John will adopt the baby. I like the atmosphere, setting, & world building of this series. It reminds me of Bioshock. But it’s interesting & also somewhat cozy. I’ve also gotten used to the different voices that audiobook narrators do for different characters.
