Honestly I love this guy and the way he writes historical fiction. Even though Arthurian legends themselves are a myth and belong to a massive metanarrative constructed by many kingdoms and societies, starting with the tales of Chrétiene de Troyes, then Geoffrey of Monmouth and so on. Not an expert on this but I love the way Bernard Cornwell presents everything with his engaging style

Now I'm starting to understand why George RR Martin praises this guy. His writing style is fabulous and the way he presents and depicts the battles is just boah
