I’m really enjoying this book, and it’s solidifying for me (based on the transcripts, evidence and interviews presented) that Krakeur is lowkey a straight up liar. Anyone reading this who isn’t keyed into the 1996 Everest disaster media lore, is going to have 0 clue what I’m saying, but just trust me on this one.
