Heavy. More than a little challenging to realize how many countries have/are creating authoritarian governments. Setting it aside for a while to read some lighter escapism.

Reading meticulously a dense but illuminating book. Average 10-12 pages a sitting, highlighting along the way. History and social theory underscore centuries of prejudice against specific groups based primarily on color and religion, and the core fear of the great replacement theory.

A book with a Note on Sources and references to 31 pages of citations while the remainder are available online. And a delicious Prologue of 38 pages meticulously constructed to provide the structure for the book. My daytime read for a while. Excited about what is to come.
