She is not doing good in school she feels like she has nothing to look up to or care about. She does end up getting a boyfriend that loves and adores her. Her Nana gives her advice for keep going to graduate on time.Which she does end up graduating and her dad calls but she deletes it.She also just wants her mom back and the only way she will forgive him if he quits drinking.He chose her and her only not the alcohol.

Jet point of view: Ryan,jet, Liliana and Elise. Also the friend Shauna and her family come to watch fireworks for jet birthday. As the fireworks are going off Ryan and Liliana are so lovey she can’t stand it she wants mom to herself. But as one of the fireworks are going off it spells Liliana will you re marry me.She said yes and he had been stating a lot at their apartment.He is also showing up a lot more for her.

Ryan has been sober for 20 months now and they’re a happy family again. They’re still living in two different apartments but they are at each other apartments almost every night.Jeff asks her one night over dinner what she was like when she was jet’s age and she tells her that she was loyal and delicate.That she needs to keep her friends close. Shauna is finally getting married.They’re going to go plan that.

She goes over to Ryan place to talk with him and have dinner. He actually cooked dinner for her and they sat at the table and talked for the first time in years. He told her that he called jet and talked about the art to her. He also got the school that she goes to. She to do a gallery for all the kids. Then as they are eating He told her that he was nine months sober. He has been getting help.

Ryan has been taking her out with him for sometime now but he and her never talk. But then she thinks it may be a good idea to show him what she has been doing which is taking really good photos of things just like he does. She goes to the are gallery to show him they meet in his office he is over the moon happy and neither of them noticed how much they are talking and how close they are.

Shauna which is the single mom she has been friends with for sometime is engaged and she is so happy for her even though she is moving but only a few houses down kendi will still go to the same school as jet. Jet is going to a middle school dance and she can’t believe how much she has grown up it’s like she was just 6 the other day. She wants her stay little forever and she is going to the dance with a boy.

Ryan is sober for 3 months and is showing up for jet. He takes to all these kinds of places and she comes home happy. But one day jet is with Elise and Liliana goes over to Ryan place to talk to him but when she gets there his drunk she thought he would not do it again after his DUI and her dad but he did. She was mad at him for lying to her and she left.

Ryan dad died and they have to go up to where was leaving and do the funeral there. Ryan, Elise, jet and Liliana all stay in a motel in different rooms. The visitation and the funeral both times Ryan is not drunk. He even takes jet and plays tag with her by himself. He brings her back late on. After jet goes to sleep Liliana goes to Ryan room to talk to him since they have been kinda talking.

Ryan shows up at thanksgiving dinner drunk again and Elise makes him go to the guest room to sleep it off. He has been coming to her apartment drunk or he won’t show up at all when he promises jet he is coming. They get a dog to have something to save. Neither Ryan nor Liliana have talked about divorce or even thought about it. He just sends her a check every month.

Jet has grown up so much even talk about marriage and what she wants to be she is only 7. It is sad that she has gotten to the point where she doesn’t care if her dad calls or not. He called the day after her 6 birthday to wish her a happy birthday but she didn’t really care. She is off to kindergarten with her new friends and Liliana is ready to time to stop passing and so is kendi.
