I already don’t remember exactly how visotsky wrote, but I recall him using a framework of modernity, comparing the ancestors in the Torah with our own behaviour today. If so, then Fohrman’s approach is a natural evolution for me on my journey. He focuses in on the morality, theological principles, call them what you will, but I feel it’s a more direct analysis of the text. Both approaches are excellent though.
