I'm reading both CH and EN, and the EN version gets compressed for clarity a lot, which is fine, but sometimes a bit too much, eg 庶子 means specifically means "concubine-born" but it's translated as "son of common birth", and I think that distinction matters for how the court treats Shen Zechuan.

Also, Xiao Chiye is way nastier in the Chinese version lol i laughed when he said 关我屁事
