This book was a poetic love letter to a somewhat ill fated love. There’s a Beauty and Beast parallel that added a touch of sweetness to the romance. The story felt long winded until I got to the ending and it all came together. Every moment in Salvario and Elowen’s journey was needed. I will definitely be reading the next one! Check your trigger warnings. Salvario’s demons are not for the faint hearted.
