Trying this again; hardcover this time instead of audio. Let’s see how it goes.

I’m having a hard time with this one. The author’s writing is beautiful and lyrical, however, the plot doesn’t feel very compelling to me and there’s very little character development. I don’t feel *invested*. I’m going to finish it to find out what happens, but I’m not particularly excited about it.
