In the past I’ve struggled to power through biographies, but this book has kept me engaged for almost 400 pages (half the book) and I am excited to keep going. Although it is well written, Teddys life is stranger than fiction, especially his adventures in the badlands of Dakota. I’ll admit that this book has inspired me to plan another backpacking trip, and, possibly, grow a large mustache.
