Slow burn romance. With an emphasis on the slow. I didn't expect Raker to be making cruel comments and fleeing conversations and connection for the majority of this book, but so far, that is how it has been. In some ways, it's good, it's different than other books I have read. But in other ways, I read a few chapters and continue to feel disappointed in their relationship progress.
