More or less opens with old Mr. Bouncer and Tommy Brock hotboxing the rabbit hole, the elder showing his zoomer guest how to smoke mid cabbage leaf cigars — but Bouncer's reggie shit is too strong (mids get you higher, some say), and both green out. When Flopsy and Benjamin return, they find Tommy and the baby rabbits escaped. Suffice to say, I'm already gripped.

mason Classic/older children's literature can be so unhinged


Alex Meeds It's been very unexpected. I have to admit that I did not expect Potter to have Tommy Brock kidnap the baby rabbits and stick them in his oven to make "young rabbit-pie". Grisly, and miles away from Peter Rabbit.
