OK, I really like Misa. She’s got a cool look, and she is smart, just not as smart as Light. What’s her motive, beyond meeting Kira? I’m betting it’s some massive interest in the Shinigami world. She’s goth, it would make sense she’d be interested.

Hello, Misa! This is a very 2000s portrayal. ‘Ooooo, I’ve got a crush on Kira and I want to meet him’. I don’t know very much about her yet though, Misa may end up being more fleshed-out.

It’s OK. At the start of the chapter it said that the Death Note doesn’t work on small children, and that if you write someone’s name wrong enough times it no longer works. They would have written that for a reason. Surely Naomi must survive somehow. Maybe she’s pregnant?
