Tbh I’m not unejoying this one as much as his others, the humor feels less middle grade and innocent. It’s not inappropriate or anything but it just doesn’t feel as cutely young or as funny 🤔

Soft DNF for now. I think this book kind of turned me off to Gordon Korman at the moment after I’ve been binging him. I might pick it back up at another time but for now I’m gonna put Gordon Korman books aside.

@charlotte really?? I’m scared to try the next one… I’m considered trying a stand alone by him instead
Understandable. There were like one or two Korman books that I read that I wasn't impressed with very much either. If you're looking for a good one to read next I'd recommend either The Superteacher Project, Slugfest, or The Fort.

@ChildOfGod, I listened to it on audiobook a few years back and it was funny and better if I remember correctly. Are you on a Gordon Korman Phase?

@charlotte yeahhhhh I think that makes it harder cause I can’t help comparing it to the other ones I’ve read. I’m considering just DNFing this one since there are so many other I can pick up and maybe I’ll pick this one back up another day…
