So far I like this. It is very formally told, as the time period is from a long time ago, and women have very little say in what they can do. As a child, she longs to study dragons, and is given some very subtle opportunities by her father and brother. The story as a whole reminds me a little of Jane Goodall, but instead of chimps, it’s dragons. Kind of a ‘proper’ telling of an ‘improper’ activity.
