Already tell I’m gonna love Valka

So many fucking characters and places to remember bro this is more difficult to read than Stormlight for sure

Absolute peak fiction right here and nothing even happened yet 😭 The way this is written from Hadrian’s future self as he’s telling the events of the past is so freaking good. Hadrian’s first encounter with a Cielcin was pretty cool. I can tell that the Cielcin will be a very very interesting species to read about over the next several books

Slowly but surely making my way through this book. Only really able to read like 20 pages a night. Gonna try to knock a bunch out this weekend if possible. It’s really really good at this point

161 pages in and Hadrian has been shit on more than any other character in any other book I’ve ever read 😭 Wtf bro and I have like 500 more pages of this book and then another 6 books in the series after this one, and I fear I’m not ready for the chaos that’ll happen in the future
