It took it a second for her to understand what the sound was and when she did, Josephine began to outright bawl. She had been surprisingly calm before; afraid, but not panicking though she wanted to. To hear it laughing at her knocked her mind offline. Such a human sound coming from an inhuman throat made her insides go liquid.
