We are never forced to consider that rage,not just stoicism,sadness or strength,were behind the actions of the few womens heroes that we were ever taught about at school.From Harriet Tubman’s to Susan B Anthony.Instead, we are regularly fed&we are regularly ingest,that womens rage is irrational,dangerous&laughable.This book is about how anger works for men in ways it doesnt work for women.

Perhaps the most popular iteration of the women who makes herself more available to patriarchy by adhering to it’s every expectation of femininity and distancing herself from other women who challenge it, is the figure of the cool girl. The cool girl is a type of woman imagined nearly uniformly young & white, who raises no objection to, and indeed embraces, masculine norms.”
