I'm really struggling to finish this. I want to mark it dnf but I'm so close I might as well suffer through it. Just passed the Rosemary/Dinosaur sex fade to black. Like, really? You don't mind explaining in detail how the Dino aliens have sex and what it's like, but when two main characters are gonna do it, you cut to something else?

I don't know how I feel about the pronoun issue being used on the alien species. I mean...that's a real issue real trans people struggle for validity with. Making all your aliens go through this "please use this pronoun that actual people want to be called,"...does it really help to equate your aliens with trans people? Idk, I'm not trans so I don't know how actual genderqueer people feel about that.
