Not loving the new perspectives. A bit too heavy on Grimm and Espira, and Abigail so far doesn’t make up for the loss of Rowl and Gwen. Writing is still mostly amazing so I’ll hold out hope. I have noted a few things that seem abruptly different to the first book (Abby/Grim friendship, new WB sex drive?). Not sure if those are needed for the new plot, good layering, or forgotten details from the ten year gap. Tbd
