To finally meet him in the light novel. Though I know Rudeus is the MC, I also want more Ruijerd. I loved the progression and the way Eris and Rudeus gradually grew stronger. I also loved the antics, especially when he licked her arm and she punched him.
It was interesting to see Rudeus's plans go wrong and him having to deal with it, though as short as it was. I also likes the development in general. 4.5 🌟

The extra chapter ends: it's basically the part of the anime with Princess Ariel and Luke in the garden. And how Sylph fell from the sky. From memory, this part was actually in the second season or part 2 of the first season or something like that. Also, RIP the other magician. I guess with his dying wish, Princess Ariel locked tf in.

Chapter 14 ends: Dead End are on the road, going from different cities to cities. Before that, Ruijerd decided to shave his hair so as to be less recognizable. The road took about a year, and during that time, Dead End become A-ranked. In addition, Ruijerd would also get many challenges during the road, which helped to spread the word of good Ruijerd. Chapter 13 ends: Dead End go back to the guild with the Red Cobra loot, and cash it out. Nokopara, the horse guy, tries to outs Dead End for swapping orders. Chapter 12 ends: Dead End take a mission, and the three kids also took it, and a B rank party. Rudeus's scheme result in the death of one of the kids. The B rank party died to to the A rank Red Cobra, which was the monster in the forrest. Though Dead End was able to slay it.

Chapter 9 end: Ruijerd and co takes the cat mission, which leads to them getting into an apparent stealing pets scheme that had been happening. When interrogating the kidnappers, one of them kick Rudeus hard, and Ruijerd immediately kills him. Rudeus is shaken up, and begins to fear Ruijerd. He tells Ruijerd not to kill anyone from now one, so they don't become afraid of him and peope stop seeing his people as killer

Chapter 7 ends: so, Rudeus registers the trio as adventurers, and their party is called "Dead End" and naturally, people make fun of them for that. Like a lot of fun. It was a fun read though, as usual
