Excellent thus far. I am ashamed to admit that I see much of myself in Julien, specifically his tendency to let passion overwhelm his pragmatism. Many seem to moralize either passion or pragmatism, but I feel that this book is meant to illustrate the interaction of the two, and whether they can co-exist with one another if they are at odds.
