So - both female protagonists are terribly annoying. The MC complaining about her loneliness (from some breakup?), and based on other reviews the complaining has been going on for 5 books now.
And the victim/target has the self preservation skills of a broomstick. Getting into a hostile looking stranger’s car????
At least the plot/case is somewhat interesting.
