Oh my word, I'm usually for some drama but this is so manufactured. I feel like I'm watching a soap opera but they don't give anything away by the end of the episode and start a whole other plot in the next one.

Just have the conversation you need to have already! I'm not convinced it'll be a big deal anyway and dragging it out this long will make whatever it is unsatisfying regardless. And they're so not careful about their relationship at all too.
