I’m having a little problem with how the author identifies everyone. All characters are simply identified by their job (waitress, banker, Air Force etc.) but the doctor is constantly called the black doctor. I hope this is intentionally apart of the plot, otherwise it’s just racist. Why mention his race along with his job when at 44% of the way in, his race has zero to do with the plot! 🤦🏾‍♀️
