As a previous CPS social worker, I just want y’all to know that this IS NOT how social workers should act with families, regardless of the situation. Social workers should be compassionate, empathetic, and show unconditional positive regard while also keeping it real. Ms. Torrez is a disgrace to the profession. UGH!
