It is now beyond clear how the techno core has played the puppet master and how they are the true enemy and parasite on humankind as they have made slaves of the web and manipulate them and use the threat of the ousters for their purposes. Also old earth is the real earth that was farcastered in the Kiev incident

The ousters say they are willing to join the web in fighting the core and now the consul awaits the sentence of the ousters while the deathwand bomb is armed and sent to the Hyperion system as it is the only suitable place to use it according to the AI advisor as it destroys all humans within a 3 light year radius and other planets are packed to close together without a labyrinth.

Kassad died while fighting the shrike with humans in the future on Hyperion and his body was buried and sent back in time with the time tombs by the victorious humans while similar battles happened on 10 million worlds, brawne discovered his body and moneta with him but moneta then disappeared, the consul and others were taken through the ouster swarm with awesome descriptions of their fleets farms and mines in space

Ummon likens the AIs giving farcasters and deathwands to humans to colonialists giving native populations knives and trinkets, making them dependent and subservient. There also exists AI space not developed and colonized by the AIs called the metasphere where things even the AIs are scared of exist this place exists outside the web

Both UIs either sent or allowed the shrike back in time as the human UI views empathy as somewhat unnecessary, the stables fight in the civil war to survive while the ultimates view it as the law of nature for the previous generation to be surpassed and replaced by the new in this case the UI.

The core exists in the space between the farcasters and use humanity that is tapped into the datasphere for computing power. There is now a civil war between the ultimates, volatiles and stables which ummon is apart of as when the AIs UI is created it will feed on the current AIs Keats was created as a hybrid of human and AI to act as an intermediary between the AIs and humankind to create hope for survival of both.

Brawne does this to try and help Martin Silenus while sol stays waiting for Rachel at the sphinx. Gladstone only has about eight hours left till she is removed in a vote of no confidence which she seems convinced is enough time to come to some conclusion about the war. Severn is dying and trying to contact Gladstone by megasphere, I believe he is empathy of the trinity which would explain his ability to sense others feelings and thoughts and feel the pain of the universe. Kassad fights and follows the shrike through time and space with the wind wagon where het masteen disappeared being one of those places. Brawne moves towards the shrike palace which has a connection to the tree

The shrike is also moving towards sol and brawne so kassad moves to intercept it with moneta
