I would invest in three kinds of books:
- Books that you will be able to study (Islamic sciences, languages, history…), an investment into your future. Pick topics you are interested in.
- Follow up volumes of series you’ve started and whose first books you enjoyed and already own. It’s always great to complete pre-existing collections.
- Books loved by people you love. Reading the favourite book of someone who matters in your life will completely define the reading experience.

Have u read As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow? If u haven't, u should!! It's a historical fiction in Syria + HALAL rom between the 2 mc. This book opens ur eyes to the diff kind of suffering unfortunate ppl have and is a book everyone should read at least once in their life. Automatic 5 stars from the first 3 chapters. If u do pick As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow, happy reading! And if u dont, gl finding a book!

Thank you so much for the rec, I have already read As Long as lemon tree grows and couldn’t stop sobbing halfway through the book, it’s a beauty! :)
