Book 2 — 4⭐️
Definitely a step up from Book 1. The mystery/profiling is getting even better, but the added emotional weight is what really got me. Lana continues to be exactly my kind of FMC, and watching Logan slowly build an increasingly accurate profile of her without realizing WHO he’s profiling??? So good. Also, this one officially made me cry 😭

I’m hooked 😭 Lana being competent, calculated, and comfortable being underestimated + the FBI/profiling side are EVERYTHING. I love her chemistry with Logan and Jake as her anchor. The romance never swallows the thriller, and THAT HADLEY ENDING??? Excuse me??? Keeping it at 3.85 because it clearly feels like setup for a much bigger story, but I need Book 2 immediately.
