Oh god, the nightmares have broken free and are attacking winter. It’s sweet to see Clarion and Petra having a quick reconciliation due to the fact that Petra made the sword that destroys the border to winter to be fake. She knew Clarion didn’t want to follow the plan so she made sure her friend wouldn’t have to go against her own beliefs. Also the crossbow that Petra made to fight against nightmares is badass.

It’s so cute getting to see Clarion enjoying winter’s celebration as well as getting to experience the beauty of the ice and snow. I adored Clarion and Milori dancing together and was extremely disappointed that Elvina interrupted. Oh, Petra why did you have to snitch. Poor Milori trying to take the blame to spare Clarion from Elvina’s anger, what a hero.

Petra and Clarion finally falling out is heartbreaking but expected. I hope Petra won’t do anything drastic like tell the Queen that Clarion is visiting winter.

The statue of the first winter Warden is proof that there is more to the story then we have been told. I’m incredibly curious about what could have caused the difference of accounts between seasons. It seems I’m correct in assuming that not all is well as the comatose faires haven’t yet awoken.

I adore how Clarion resists the seeds of doubt being sown towards Milori and how she confides in him immediately. It’s shows that she trusts him implicitly. They seem to have accomplished the mission to re-trap the nightmares, however I feel like this victory is too easy, I’m anxious that there might be more destruction on the horizon.

I’m so anxious about the plan to separate winter from the rest of pixie hollow as I feel like that would irrefutably damage the delicate balance between seasons. The lore between the previous Queen and the first winter Warden is so intriguing, I honestly can’t believe he betrayed her, I’m assuming there is something more to the story as the one we are being told reads very much as propaganda.

It’s so sad to see Clarion grow distant from Petra, they clearly care for each other but Clarion needs to be taken seriously and believed in which Petra can’t accomplish due to her paranoia over winter. Clarion and milori being vulnerable about their guilt and responsibility was so wholesome, and THEY FINALLY KISSED. Get yourself someone who thinks you are as incredibly as Milori believes Clarion is.

I’m so glad that Clarion is able to feel at home among the winter fairies due to their healing talents treating her with warmth and kindness. Although, Milori believing himself to be responsible for her injuries was heartbreaking, I can’t help but adore how he consistently checked on her wellbeing.

It’s heartbreaking to see Milori feel guilty for putting clarion in danger (or at least believing he put her in danger). Especially when Clarion believes she is safe with Milori as she feels comfortable enough to fall asleep on his shoulder.

Clarion was so close to closing the net and re-trapping the nightmares, it’s such a shame that she lost the momentum at the last moment. However, I believe she will be able to accomplish it next time. In the meantime, I just hope her injuries aren’t too bad.
