Pynchon finally wrote a book for girls 😻 This absolutely reads like a book written by a man who has lived with and adored a woman for decades. Maxine and Heidi’s unspoken war over Poison perfume is just… not something I would expect to read in one of his novels, but I am weirdly touched by it.
